Initiated by a brief for Cumbria Crystal glass manufacturers to design an aroma diffuser, this series of Meta explorations into fabulated materials takes a conceptual material approach to the ‘problem’ of how to wick an aroma into the air.

These objects propose use of multiple crafts, techniques and materials:
diamond wheel glass cutting, plaster mould forming and casting, foam casting  and metal tube making.
Additionally they explore applications of bio-design with mycellium ’casting’.
